Meet Gill Bavister Our Fresh Expressions Explorer

Gill was appointed in January 2007 as a Lay Worker in the role of Fresh Expressions Explorer. Having lived in the Clacton on Sea area all her life, she has seen many changes and is looking forward to the opportunities of sharing the gospel as she explores the communities within Rush Green, Gt. Clacton and Jaywick.

She is married to David (who is a Lay Pastor) and has enjoyed their shared ministry so far. Most of Gill’s working life was as a Special Needs Teacher, and before taking up this new role, she was working at the University of Essex, in the library. She is currently training as a Local Preacher.
